I've liked drawing for as long as I can remember, but I really started to get into it when I was 11, just going into sixth grade. I constantly drew though out all of middle school and the first couple of years of high school (and went through an evolution of pencil sketches, to adding shading, then adding color, then using pen as well). Near the end of my high school career I, unfortunately, developed Artsist's block (is that a thing? I knows there's writer's block so I'll just go with it) and only produced a couple of drawings. In the past year or so, I have redeveloped my passion for creating artwork and have started using a wider variety of medians. I now like to use Pencil, Colored Pencil, Pen, Charcoal, Acrylic Paint, and Polymer Clay. I very much enjoy experimenting with different medians, but on that note I think it is still important to stick to a few medians that you are comfortable with and develop those skills further. I love sharing my artwork with others and getting to see the great pieces that other people create so I am really glad to be a part of the deviantart community:)
